More mod problems....

I have been having a lot of problems with many mods lately and this is definently not the first and probably not the last... :dead: ok so i began the installation of point of existance and before the install wizard even starts up a window pops up bringing a message that said: that it detected that i do not have Battlefield 2 installed on my computer... no joke... i just clicked continue and the files and being installed as i write this so i am just hoping but that alert really has me worried and kind of mad... ANY help would be appreciated... PLEASE!!! and YES!!! i do have BF2 installed! am i crazy or what??

did you install bf2 in the default location on the C drive? if not you might have to direct the installer to the proper location.

The mod installer detects BF2 through the registry the same way that the BF2 patches do.

well actually my Battlefield 2 folders and in the right location which is C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 so that is not a problem... anyway yesterday after i posted that last thread i installed POE and it works just fine... so i dont know why that window came up in the first place... thanks for your concern but its all good... BUT WHERE IS EVERYBODY!?? there is no online servers running at all :hmm:

Turn off the ranked filter in the server browser.

k ill have to try that drunken pirate thx! i love all the new weapons and vehicles its a really neat, awsomely well made mod and im looking forward to more releases of the point of existence team you guys are gonna soar! by the way does anybody know what the latest release of this mod is because im trying to find the same link i downloaded it the first time on my friend's computer so we can play together on the same server but the one i first downloaded took 3 hrs and 15 minutes and the one im downloading now is gonna take like 7 hrs. either his computer is really slow or im downloading a different version...

well while i was playing POE something unexpected came up and im kinda mad... whenever i walk into an enemy base that uncappable i die in like 3 seconds because im not supposed to go in there!!! i mean what is up with that guys?! come on! i say war is hell and i dont even get like a 5 second warning before i start to die.. i think at least... AT LEAST if you have every other base you can actually attack the uncap base... just my opinion

This is a server side option called DOD or Doom of Death, Our server has it turned off so you can do exactly what you speak of....you take all the other flags and KILL KILL KILL no matter if they are in their main or not.

Feel free to join up and do Exactly that! :)
