Screen turns off

Ok, so I start Battlefield 2 and join a game.. everything goes ok until I leave the server, get booted, or exit my game.. when I get booted from a server or leave a server sometimes my screen just turns off and I can't turn it back on, I've tried replugging it in and everything, I always have to restart my computer to fix it.. the game doesn't crash though because I still hear the music through my headphones and it doesnt sound laggy or anything, also when I leave the game it does the same thing, I run my game at 1280x1024 which is the same resolution of my desktop.. I have a Samsung SyncMaster914v (LCD), my video card is a ATI Radeon 9200..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have system standby enabled?

Just checked it, I don't but I had something on that said "Turn off monitor in 20 minutes" I turned that off, I think that mightve been the problem
