    VOIP not working...

BAck to bother you some more (sorry:P). my mic doesnt seem to work in game. When i do the test to set it up after installation, it doesnt detect my sound. Yet when i go to options n audio in the game, it detects my voice. However in the game, nothing comes through. Anybody else had this prob?

make sure your mic volume is turned up in windows or use the windows voice recorder to test it.

I had same problem, this worked for me, in audio options uncheck "eax & mic boost" then hit apply, then in run command type DXDIAG
go to the sound tab, put the acceleration on basic or low, hit ok, then go try game.

Actually my PC is brand new thank you in fact it almost matches your specs exactly I'll try what opc_tim suggested, cheers mate.

Strange i dont have an option to change acceleration to basic or low (im using vista, maybe thats why?)any other ideas in this case?

welp, im noob at vista for sure, but in your direct X if vista has it, there should be a acceleration for the sound, ya might find it unless vista is really whacked.

                  besta luck
