rank requirements

For brigader general (1 star) you need silver on many badges, what happens if you get the point requirements but do not have the badges needed, once you finally get the badges, will you rank up??

Is there time needed for some of the high ranks?? i heard 1080hours needed for 1star rank but i dont know for sure.

How do you get 4 stars rank??

Unless you have the badges you'll remain a colonel.

that's why there are some colonels with more points than 1 star generals.

That's right, the stars separate the players with good skills and no life from the ones that just don't have a life.

How do you get 4 stars rank??

If i remember rightly, you have to be in the top 50 of the world.

yeah, I'm in the same boat. I need a veteran aviator badge to rank up, which requires 50 hours. I don't really hate jets, I just love the helos, so thats where most of my time went. I have over 300 hours in helos, and 5 in jets. Even if I put on an hour per day, it'll still take me 2 months to rank up. I should have saw this coming, but I guess because when I started out, I never really expected to make general, so I didn't actually plan for it. I suck at jets ...but now I want the stars.

well i needed about 20 hours in a tank

then tampa came, and i got my time

no i'm just 7K points away from 180k and need 80 hours for one star

then another 150+ for 2 stars... joy

thanks all.... but what got me was, people like blue assault, number 6 in world (hes my bf2 idle :yay:) have score per minute of like over 3.

I have score per minute of 2.40 and looks like i will just slip in perfectly the amount of time needed for 1 star whilst having 180k... how the hell do people with score per minute 3 achieve the time before 180k points??

is there definately a time needed for each rank? (star ranks i mean)
if so please state.

they dont. they get the 180k points, then have to wait for the time to build up before they get the first star.
