Well, ive searched for this and found other lag problems but not the one that im having. If there is a thread about this, then sorry and i would be grateful if you point me in the right direction :)
Right well, when i enter a server the game runs fine and smooth from the start, but at random times throughout the time that im playing on the server i get random lag...
The lag is strange though, my ping and connection are fine but say im sniping on a building looking one way, it could jump for a second and ill then be facing the wall or could actually fall off the building (thats happened a few times and ive died) Or if im a medic and running and then stop and put my scope on, again it will jump and my scope will randomly go back in and i could move position slightly. It happens when im running aswell and i could end up going another way
Its not a massive lag problem as im sure other people are suffering more, but its really annoying when im trying to aim and it randomly jumps, 9 times out of 10 i end up dieing and it happens quite a lot.
Ive searched this forum and google but i cant seem to find a solution
My computer is good enough to run the game on decent settings and ive even tried lowering them but everything still runs smooth apart from the random lag :/ If anyone knows a solution to this problem i would appreciate it :)
System Specs:
Windows XP Home
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ (2.52 GHz)
2.0gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS (this is the only let down, but i cant see that being the problem)
160gb Hard Drive
My graphics card drivers and direct X etc are all up to date.
My internet is 2mb but i use it through a wireless router.
