How do i reduce my lag also...

Um can someone tell me how i look at my system specs since u need that to help me...well i think part of the reason im kinda bad at BF2 is cause of my massive lag...i mean its kinda hard to snipe or just plain shoot closerange when your lag is really bad....i do virus sweeps and i can turn my firewall off if that helps....and what is that cleanign your logon cache thing or whatever? pzl help.... yeah since i joined here ive been asking for lots of help...

go to start>run>dxdiag. It will tell you your system specs

as for the cache, go to my documents>BF2>mods>BF2>cache and delete it

how will deleting those things affect BF2? does it change anythign besides get rid of lag? btw, heres my specs: Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4600+(2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz, Memory: 1982MB RAM, Page File: 1168MB used, 3014MB availible, DirectX version: 10 and...it's a Dell Dimension C521 with windows Vista

Im not sure....on the system specs thing i clicked on the tab that says display would it be the thing that says "NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE"? also-so how does deleting the cache folder affect BF2 besides getting rid of lag?

^^ ew at the video card.

deleting the cache folder(s)in bf2 will re-optimize shaders when u join a game, so the loading time mite be a bit longer but onlyfor that one time
