When i load up battlefield 2 there is no mouse pointer on the screen.
I know the mouse is working because move the mouse over a button the button gets highlighted. The pointer comes up once ive joined a server (was ard to judge where to click so took me ages) but i cant change any setting the graphics menu, because its a lot harder with out a pointer!!

Does anyone know how to fix this or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Re: mouse problem

I heard many problems with BF, but this one sure is the strangest. Are u running multiple accounts? Does this happens with all your accounts?

I suggest deleting your Battlefield 2 map located on My documents. Now u force the game to run @ standard settings. If u don't wanna put your controll settings back in, back-up the old file, located: My Documents > Battlefield 2 > Profiles > 0001 > Controlls.con

If this won't work, reinstall your game dude... That will definitely fix it..

After Deleting BF map or reinstalling and logging in. You exit the game and put the controll.con file back where it belongs. It will ask overwright. just click yes..

    Hope this helps dude...

I did what you said, but still no mouse pointer and bdw there is no mouse pointer in the log onto account bit either (easy to log in though just click enter).
I cant understand why it doesn't work in the menu and works on a server (to choose kits and such)
      Thanks anyway for the suggestion
