Favourites?!

Is there a way i can stop bf2 from adding servers to my favourites!?
So annoying deleting them all!

BF2 only adds favorites if you add them, right?

every server i go on gets added!
the ones you save as your favourite are in green!

i dont think u can stop it. they prob have it cuz when u connect to a server, u tend to forget what the name was and when u go back to the multiplayer list, u usually cant find it, so u check ur favorites and its there. just ignore it and usually ur "favorites" (the ones u select) are always at the top of the list

it slows down bf2 though, thats the annoying thing!

you can manually remove them by editing the file general.con in notepad:

/mydocuments/bf2/profiles/000x/general.con

they are about 1/2 way down in the file. remove the favorites and recents and you will log in faster to bf2. If you want to stop bf2 from adding them, make that file 'read-only'.
