Issue with antialiasing since 1.41 patch.

Hey all. Looking for some help please. I have just installed the v1.41 patch to battlefield 2 and am having problems with anti aliasing. Since the patch I am unable to turn on anti aliasing. I get a message saying that the game has to be restarted to make changes but restarting does not fix the issue.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I'm running it on a Dual core pentuim 2.13 with 2 gigs of RAM a GeForce 8600GT and Windows Vista.

when you restart the game, do you turn it on again? it doesn't do it for you after you restart so maybe thats the problem.:salute:

try this:
navigate to
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001

open up Video.con with notepad
and scroll down a bit where u can see

"VideoSettings.setAntialiasing"
and set it as "VideoSettings.setAntialiasing 2Samples"

(2samples = 2x AA so 4samples =4xAA)

and scroll down a bit where u can see
