    Basic BF2 Map Troubleshooting Tools

Hello all, sorry for a noobish question but I'm just getting into this and trying to figure out how BF2 works at a basic level. I have some map mods I'm trying to test (just mods of existing maps) and for some reason my modified maps do not show up in BF2. I cannot find any basic troubleshooting data on how to log map loads etc. Presumably there is some method to enable BF2 logging for basic troubleshooting... Sorry, coming from a java background and making some assumptions.

Can anyone give me a tip here? I don't want to blast the forums with my 50 stupid questions of "why can't I see my stuff?" and the like. I'd rather learn the tools and become self-sufficient. :salute:

Any response (that doesn't include profanity) is greatly appreciated!

    Regards,

    Matt

run in windowed mode for starters, then learn how to setup the debugger.

I have the debugger .dll if you need it.
