hey all ive been playing bf2 all night trying to get gunnery sergeant unlocked.

i got to 8000 but my rank stayed the same ..

here is a screenshot



and as you can see here i need 8000 to be gunnery sergeant

You get promoted in-game yet? If not then it won't show up in BFHQ.

no not in game yet but i should have ive passed 8000 points

Here's an idea, just go and join a server. Bet you get prompted then.

You don't get prompted as soon as you get the required number of points, it takes the first score in the next round after going over the required amount.

yeah it has to do with ur rank/points being processed slowly which is normal. just join a server and play another roundd. in fact, the first point u get in the round should give u the new rank

yeah for some reason your rank likes to sneak up on you out of no where while you're playing :p
