can anyone that owns counter strike: source tell me how many mb it takes up and how long it would take to download off steam (i have 256k internet)

Well its only showing as 66MB in my folder but i bet ts about 1GB or more, it would not take that long off the steam servers they are pretty quick.

1,679Mb according to Steam > My Games > CS: Source > Properties > Local Files. So, pretty much over 1.5GB.

I get about 830kb/s off steam servers, which is my line max. So they are very fast.

yes the steam servers are very fast,on my dads line i was downloading anywhere from 700 kb/s to 1 mb/s.

yeah but their game servers suck with all the 56kers :p

my steam folder is 19GB big, and all i have is CS 1.6, Cs Cz, Cs Cz-DS, Css on three accounts and g-mod 10, and Cs;s is about 1GB-2.2GB depending how many servers you've played on and how many custom files you have, like new gun sounds, gun skins, gun models, player skins and models, maps ect...

It really depends. If you already have HL2 or not.
