Speedier boat
Found a neat little feature of the ingame physics a little while back.
Have you noticed that when you land the boat onshore that the speed increases before it can go no further and stops?
On a couple of maps now i've taken the RIB and tried 'skimming' the first foot or two of the shoreline driving parallel and the RIB's speed increases by about 50% or more!
On Sharqi this gets you around to the passage up to the back of the TV station and on Highway tampa around the waterways in the RIB much faster
On one hand the extra speed helps you avoid rockets easier but on the other hand you are closer to shore defenses such as anti-tank soldiers
Be careful not to drive the boat more than a couple of feet onto the shore though or the boat will stop.
Anyone else use this to transport troops more quickly?
