I cannot play in my naitve rez of 1680x1050. I put the correct information in my desktop shortcut but the games clearly plays in 1280x1024. is there something I am missing?

What you need to do is trick BF2 in to playing 1680x1050 as i had to do when i got my new 22" monitor,you will need to right click on BF2 short cut on your desk top then click propeties then in one of the boxes it says start BF2 in full screenthen there is a code you need to type in like this and leave the right spaces.....after fullscreen it should look like this,
+fullscreen 1+szx 1680 +szy 1050 :yay:
In the BF2 options it will still say some other res than 1680x1050 but you just leave that,if you want to make sure its worked then take a screen shot and then look at it in your computer and as you move on to it it will say whet res it was capured in.Comment

when you manually change the resolution via the shortcut in the Options > Video will always show 1280*1024Comment
