Hi,

I just bought BF2 today, it installed fine and I launched it up and clicked play online and nothing happend so I remember having the same problem with the BF2 demo and I had to limit it to 1 CPU (I have 2) so I did the same with this version and I got to the create account screen but when I create an account it says creating for 10 minuites and I have to switch of my PC, why is this, it souldnt take that long

dont kno how to fix ur problem completely, but

make sure u patch to 1.41
make sure update PB
make sure ur Firewall isnt interfering
make sure NEVER to use the Play BF2 Online shortcut. just use the normal Play BF2 shortcut.

Thanks. How do I update PB and am I right limiting BF2 just to one of my processors or can it take two?

and yeah i think ur right about limiting bf2 to one of hte processors. i dont do it, but usually if it causes problems, thats somewhere to look since bf2 uses only one CPU

Thanks. Well I just installed the update and that went good and by default it put it back to 2 processors and I could get to the screen to sign up with two processors so I have left it as two. It still says creating account for ages and I end up having to switch my PC off, its the 5th time I have to turn it off, it might damage the power if I do this anymore. Im just confused why it should be doing this. Thanks

Its your firewall, alt+tab out and allow it to connect.
