Battlefield 2 bought at a Canadian Wal-Mart in Toronto: $50 dollars.

Special Forces EP bought at a Canadian Wal-Part in Parry Sound: $20 dollars.

Seeing the BF2/SF Special Edition a week later for $40 dollars: Priceless.

1st copy at best buy after pre-order. got the headset.

EF Boostard packer: delivered to my desktop at (if I remember correctly) about 2.4kb/s
AF Boostardpacker: delivered to my desktop, faster this time. must have been at least 3.7kb/s, if not the elusive, mind-blowing 4kb/s mark.

Yup; EA got me for $100. Hence I refused to pay $50 for the new 2.142 "patch".

Oh, and can someone PM me the original title? Curiosity kilt'd the cat, and all.

I bought this as a spur of the moment purchase from Play.com. Literally just thought "Battlefield 2, what's that?", went to the site, didn't even read the description and bought it.

Back then, no game could possibly beat CS. I actually thought I'd pick this game up and put it on the shelf after a week.
