I noticed when i have alot of players on my screen my fps tends to drop. Is there any way of switching out the players models with less detailed versions? Or is this against the rules? I'd assume it would be, but figured id ask.

Re: Player Models
yeah wat settings r u playing on?
lowering geometry also lowers Level Of Detail (LOD) regarding distance, so as things get farther away...they become less detailed.
u can also use Rivatuner to lower ur LOD but ive tried it b4 and t hings turn into blocks if u lower it too much.
(oh whoops i think for Rivatuner, u have to increase the value of LOD to make it less detailed)

Re: Player Models
What are your pc specs? Same thing happens to me. I lag like hell during firefights, artillery, etc. Even during regular running around in Gulf of Oman and Strike at Karkand I lag. I dont know what your computer specs are but my cpu bottlenecks because it cannot choose which info. to take from both gpus. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
you wouldnt think that I lag by looking at my pc specs (signature) but hell, I do.

Re: Player Models
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.3GHz
1GB RAM
GeForce 7600GT
By the recommended specs (Half my specs) i thought id be running the game on high, i run on ALL LOW settings besides draw distance and lag, it pisses me off.
@Badsubby
About your bottleneck, it may be your processor being a little slow for both SLI and a PhysX card.
