Anyone else ever wonder why such a big points gap between first seargant and seargant major? Its 30 thousand points. Why. I think the biggest gaps should going from enlisted to officer and then from full bird to 1 star. Those are the biggest jumps in real life scenerios. they should have made the gap smaller.

EA did it to seperate the hardcore gamers from the casual gamers. The hardcore gamers continue playing, while the casual gamer hopefully quits and buys another EA product.Comment

well IRL it takes along time to get to Sergeant Major
so i guess that kidna makes half sense
i'd agree with the whole big gap to get your commission, but imagine how annoying that'd be to have 30k followed by say 25k or another 30k gap.
as for Colonel to General, there's another 30k point gap, and also you need a specific amount of hours for each star. so it does take a long time. 1080 hours minimum, or if you have a decent SPM longer, plus all veteran vehicle badges can be a pain for some (i.e. specific vehicles whore, IO whores)
so that aint a walk in the park eitherComment
