Why does it take more points to get past 1st sarge then from colonel to general??

Ya could say that... although once you hit the leafs (bronze and silver, dno the rank) the gold and platinum bars look pretty noobish to me lol.

Although you are right you can be relatively relaxed fighting anyone under the 50k points mark.

well back before they had all the officer ranks it was a 150k gap between master sergeant (or whatever the 50k one is) to 2ndLT which required 200k points. Then when they added in the officer ranks they just placed them in that gap. I think they should shorten the gap a bit but I don't really care I just play for the fun of it

colonal 150k, 1 star, 180k = 30k pts.
1st sargeant 20k, sargeant major, 50k = 30k points.

Yeah I remember it also required about 10,000 hours to get an expert badge in a kit.

lol thats insane

though to me (currently doing the second 30k step), it doesn't seem aslong, mainly because i get more points per round and generally to get a decent score is easier.

@desert i thought originally the highest rank was Sergeant Major of the Corps, not 2Lt?
