7600gt a good gfx card for BF2?

I'm just about to order this card from newegg to replace my old Radeon x600 256mb Hypermemory card. Do any of you have a card like this and how does it run BF2?

its great for older games but itll run newer games on medium or so,if u can upgrade to the 7900gs.

yeah if your only gonna play BF2, get it but I have the 7900 GS and it plays all my games maxed

its a decent powerful cheapish card. if ur on a slim budget and mainly going to plat bf2, this card will do well


its slightly faster than my 6800gt which can handle the game on mostly high settings pretty well.

I don't think I'll be getting any really new bleeding edge type games anytime soon, the newest games I have are BF2, Medieval 2 Total War and Age of Empires 3, although I might also consider getting CoD4 when it comes out.

well COD4 is gonna be demanding, you can get a 7900 GS for like $150 nowadays I think....
