Can someone tell me what this error means please

I just installed Special Forces and when i try to start it the screen goes black then i get the error that you will see in the attached pic,if it did actually attach.

If anyone can give me any idea as to what this may mean and how i can resolve it it would be greatly appreciated,thank you very much.

Try reapplying patch 1.41

You are only missing some file. First reapply 1.41 patch and if that doesnt work you're gonna have to reinstall teh entire game.

Well strangely enough I have just started getting this error too! A reinstall/repatch hasnt fixed it either

What THIS error??? BF2 is screwed up. All you gotta do is reinstall. But, this time do a manual uninstall, for that go to BF2 uninstall

After that, just install the regular way in this order:

BF2
BF2 SF (if you have it)
BF2 EF (if you have it)
BF2 AF (if you have it)

Patch 1.41

After this, you should be good to go. Good luck.
