  • Shading on Tanks

Before I go on, here are my video settings:
    1024x768 (60hz)
    Terrain Low
    Effects High
    Geometry: High
    Texture: Medium
    Lighting: Low
    Dynamic Shadows: Off
    Dynamic Light: Off
    A-A: Off
    Texture Filertering: High
    View Distance: 100%

Every time I see a tank on any map, I see this: http://dan-services.com/tank_noshow.jpg. All other vehicles work fine except for this.

    Welcome to Total BF2!

Why did you customize your settings so much?

Ouch that looks nasty, from what you have for settings I believe it would be better if you ran medium across the board and turned off shadows, lighting and AA and set the view distance to 90%

Thanks for the responses. I tried all that and it still shows tanks like that. The strange thing is that when they are about to disappear after being destroyed, they show up.

Reinstall the game. If that don't work, update your video card drivers.

60Hz is enought for LCD, it wont stress your eyes
CRT needs over 70 at least

Always move the refresh rate by 5 never put on 72 always either a 10 or a 5.

Oh and its not just about stressing your eyes, the image will move quicker if you provide a higher refresh rate.
