BF2 Patch not "registering"

Guys,

Just installed BF2 deluxe ver under Vista64 (installed as administrator)

I patched it to 1.41 as administrator.

Voip still doesn't work...but thats another problem.


I realise now that I can't join any games. Apparently my version of BF2 (1.41) is OLDER than all other servers out there. :shock:

Maybe I'm making some noob mistake somewhere. Can somebody help?

I just reinstalled the game cleared the registry and did it again. No joy.

Also, this is odd, but on my startbar (I have the game running now and just alt-tabbed) It says I have V1.12963-795.0...)

Is this damn PATCH not installing under vista???
