I found that out a while ago, but it always ended up falling off the edge. I'll give it another go.

The best place on Wake is the AH-1Z spawn, left side.

It depends on the map because sometimes the carrier is in a bad place to do it.

I tried and it worked just perfect. Just get in the car by holding E and back it off from the edge.


Your tip ruined my commanding when I got 2 cars on the carrier all I did was racing with some corporal who eventually had too much speed ending his race into sea :laugh:

I found what works is to immediately exit the command screen once you begin the drop.
As the car is falling, get underneath it and hold E and W at the same time. That way you'll enter the car and then move forward. That's how I kept it from falling off the edge when I tried it.

which is exactly what i stated in my original post. but reverse from where i dropped it because the car faces north. north = water

I was sitting in my car and was on commander screen.. some teammate had pimped my DPV while it. It looks damn weird DPV driving on carrier having red skulls on its wheels jumping up and down :laugh:

^ I do that all the time its so fun esspecially when FF is off and you can make their vehicle fly.
