BF 2 patch 1.41 problem ?

i played bf 2 regualr version... and server MGN where i played changeing to patch 1.41 so i download patch and install it and when i click bf 2 icon game starts i see black screen and goes to desktop... can anyone help me with this whats the problem ?

my comp spec...

X2 Dual Core 3800+
M2N-MX
1gb ddr 667
GeForce 7600 GS

did u rename BF2.exe b4 u patched? if u did and patched, thats ur problem, and u have to reinstall...

and i just suggest reinstall overall
