While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Right manuually delete all the files that relate to BF2 in your C:/Program Files. Then run a program called CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) which can be dloaded free of the net. Run both the "Cleaner" and "Issues" option. Then, download a program called Hijackthis (the 1.9 version, not 2.0 beta) and open misc tools, open uninstall manager and delete the BF2 entry.
Then reinstall as normal using the disk.
