BF2 shuts down if I go near a jet, or try to get into one

Hi,

this is my first post. wish it didn't have to be about a problem.

anyhoo, I've got a dell 9150, with a poor standard geforce 7300 LE graphics card, it's supposed to have 512 mb, and I assume those settings should be fine for BF2. i play hl2 cs source fine.

i can fly a chopper, drive tanks, vehicles. But If i even approach jets, the bf2 shuts itself down. What could this depend on?

If i manage to get into a jet, I'll be able to take off, and then a few feet above ground it'll shut bf2 again. flying is the best part of bf, appreciate any help.

wat settings r u playing on? sometimes my game shuts off when it strains itself too much and 7300 isnt as good as u think

i run with everything on medium or low.

800 x 600 resolution.

other specs are pentium D 2.8 ghz, 1 gig ram. 250 gb harddrive, 10 mbit connection. surely i thought that wud allow me to play this game that i love.

That will prob fix your problem though.

But if you do reinstall, do a manual uninstall and go to:
