Being kicked by Punk Buster

I just bought a new computer and it says when I join a server after I kicks me it says I have inadiquit O/S or something like that. I dont know what to do I just spent 800 dollars on this computer and Im gonna be pissed if I cant play BF2 on it. Also I did not update the game I am downloading the 1.41 patch. Is there a patch for Vista users? Please help me.
