Patch will not work To little space

I am trying to install "BF2_Patch_1.41" Patch
But when it gets to the patches install screen, my computer slows down and the Low disk space manager pops up saying I have only 75MB of space left and I know for a fact that I have enough space to install the patch, but because of too low of space The installer won't install because of too little space.
But when I close the install setup afterwards the memory problem is instantly gone.
Any ideas on how to help me out?

Well I think I solved the problem uninstalled a lot of programs now to see if it will run.
Freed up 2 GB now to see...
