Seat switching a glitch?

Just wondering what you guys think about seat switching (flying solo and switching to gunner seat to use tv missile), do you think its a glitch or do you think DICE wanted it that way?

Just because dice didn't intend for it to happen, doesn't mean it's a "glitch" as in it's not physically supposed to happen.

You're allowed to switch seats, and people have just mastered it.

it isn't a glitch really, and Dice did have plenty of time to make it not possible to do it, but instead chose to merely limit the amount of time a heli would stay airborne when in the gunner seat only.

i dont like it either but no its not a glitch and should have been fixed somehow i think like maby you can only switch from piolet to gunner once while in the helicopter or you have to get out and get back in......

Uhhh... You can hit F1/F2 as much as you likee. Solo is one of the things I really like but then I'm not opposed to having a pilot that can fly either =D

its NOT a glitch ...IMO its not the best use of a helo, but it can be effective, so as long as its still in the game ...play it.

not a glitch, but Ive been kicked for it soooooo many times though cause they admins considered it an exploit......IDIOTS


I joined a server one day and started to solo, admin told me i wasnt allowed, I asked nicely if he'd make an exception because there wasnt enough peeps to have a gunner, all the admins agreed to let me solo, within 10 minutes I was kicked because I took out the helo at least 5 times (admin ) and I took out the J10 a few times as he was taking off which was a clan member but not an admin

So then the game turns into a Tank/Bomber fest? I can understand if there is someone who wants to gun, but when there isn't, a good solo can be just as good a pilot/gunner combo. Not to mention it will keep people from stealing the chopper and using it against you.

It's already been mentioned, so I'll be brief:

Dice has had multiple opportunities to remove switching, but has not done so. Perhaps coincidentally, pilotless helicopters drop from the sky after approximately four seconds, the time it takes to switch, fire and lead the missile to a full distance.

Just a thought...
