Battlefield 2 main theme???????

Does any one know where i can get the opening theme for Battlefield 2 as a music file? I have looked everywhere and nadda. Can you get it from the disk or install?? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

no, but there is another option, just take the main title video out extract it or open it, then use a sound recording program to copy just the sound and not the video

the file you want is programfiles/eagames/battlefield2/mods/bf2/movies/intro

I wish they just kept the original Battlefield music, the one that plays in 1942 in the intro. That was a cool song. I was playing PR the other day, and when it loads Kashan Desert, that is the song that plays. Made me happy

I was checking all those commander's and grunt's etc sound files and most of those expressions I haven't even heard in the game. Am I missing something?

put sound settings on hardware and set it to high.

Ya if you have higher settings, they say different things.

everything is different
more sounds
weapons sound closer to realistic rather than the airsoft sound
ambient sounds are clearer

all the sounds files in BF2/2142 are .oog or .ogg files, i forget which its been a while now, so look for those, there are plenty there, maybe on ewill be the loading mysic/opening music!

put sound settings on hardware and set it to high.

i put my sounds on hardware and couldn't hear my afterburners (thought my joysticks was broken) and the cockpits of air vehicles were quiet, but everything else sounded great.

AF has the best loading map music they took 1942s and mixed it up alittle bit.
