    EA Message

How do I get rid of the message from EA to download the new map everytime I log in. I have already downloaded road to tampa and it still shows every time I log in. It just annoying having to click cancel everytime I log onto my account.

I don't think it's possible to get removed. They made it popup in a patch..

The EA messages have nothing to do with a patch.

speaking of which, that new "download tampa" image is one of the worst photoshops Ive seen. you'd think a company as big as EA could do better than that crappy jpg.

They used to promote mods with it, they promised to show a pop-up of the latest mods released....I think they put 1 mod up before they switched it back to there crappy advertisements.....

                  Thanks di(EA)ce....

                      Its in your /mydocs/bf2/logocache/

you can replace the picture and make it read-only if you like.

When I got it corrupted somehow, it started whining about modified content. Almost reinstalled the whole game.
