Re: Valid CD Error
I have ergc in my registry. Take a look around once again. Dont mess around with wdc. If you cant find it you might have to do a re install. I recommend doing a manual uninstall and then reinstall in this order:
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 2 SF
Battlefield 2 EF
Battlefield 2 AF
Patch 1.41
For manual uninstall go to:
Remember, Dont do it unless you can find the ergc.Comment

Re: Valid CD Error
You cant do a manual re install. Just put in the cds/dvd in your drive and it should autoplay. That's it. After original BF2 is installed. Install 1.41 patch. K. Good luck pal.
P.S. I just added you man.Comment

Re: Valid CD Error
That's weird. It should have fixed it permanently. Did you follow the instructions in order? It has happened to me so many times and I have to do this only once and the problem is gone.
I also remember that you re installed BF2. Follow the instructions again and see what happens.
