I have flies under my screen.

Thunder flies...no big ones. Thunder flies get under really thin places like paintings and stuff. And no i have them under my screen.

Do you think i can take my LCD monitor apart so i can get them out?

I'd be very careful about taking an LCD apart mate.
Can you not move them to the side/bottom with some gentle (I said GENTLE!) tapping?

Yep i tried the tapping thing. But it doesnt seem to do anything. I dont want to kill them while they're there either.

Isnt there like a plastic cover over the actual LCD component that i could take off?

Had this last year, i just poked it an it died, then managed to wipe it away with a tissue.

Do not take your LCD apart. LCD screens are compressed during production, if you take it apart you will never get it back together successfully.

Clearly this is not the case since there are bugs in it.

I think he said that he has a screen ontop of his LCD, maybe something like one of those protect your eyes thingys I don't know but if it appears to be an easy job then go for it. Someone stated above already they were ok.

Nah its not an eye protecty thingy.

The plastic cover im thinking of is the layer on top of the LCD component. Obviously they cant leave a exposed display so they put a plastic cover on top.

Well either way those flies are not going to move out of there on there own...

Asides from taking the lcd apart to get them out, you should prolly also think of a way to prevent it from occuring again =/

Thats really weird though... I can only imagine how annoying that must be. Personally I'd be pissed off at the quality of the monitor because bugs can get inside...
