fricken LOOOOOVE jihading. really refreshed the game for me. whoever dreamed it up is a genius - i recall days before jihading existed. now, that seems a bit like not having a mobile phone.

especially cool is how you can frustrate them armour whores, and zap enemy morale. it also makes taking out assets that much easier.

another bonus is - when capping a flag, having jumped out your jeep, an enemy nicks it... then...BOOOOM! yuk yuk yuk.

It's a great tactic in situations where armor is rolling up, or defending a position and you have no armor to support you.

Like Wake Island 2007 when your attacking the Airfield you can take the Chinese buggy at the end of the island load it up with 2 other squad mates(one being your SL) and drive down the beach, leave them there come up over the hill and take out the tank much easier and most of the time unnoticed until it is too late.

Or when you have to defend Airfield and the Yanks roll up with a tank from South Base/North Village and your tank is away, or not yet re-spawned you can ambush their tank.

You can bail and let the car roll next to the tank and then blow it so you survive, or you can just stay inside the car and ram it into the tank so it blows up. When the car blows up, the C4 also blows up

Yeah if the vehicle the C4 is attached to explodes before the C4 is detonated, then explosion is increased, I did this with a blackhawk once in an attempt to take out tanks-Simply fly above them then dive and parachute while you watch is detonate above the tank- but a J-10 shot me with repeated strafe attacks and on the final run got too close to me as I blew up and it took him out as well.

I "earned" my expert explosives jihad jeeping. Afterwards I felt cheap and dirty. That was 16 months ago and I have never jihad jeeped since. It is a skill-less exploitative way to earn cheap kills and has about as much class as jet camping the enemy hangar or placing a claymore on an enemy spawn.

Yes, that's right "exploitative". DICE didn't discover C4 ramming in beta testing and have stated this was not the intended use of C4 on jeeps. So theoretically under the ROE it could be classed as an exploit (i.e. Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms...).

In light of this the ROE was amended...

2.3.2 Allowed “In-House” Ranked Server Rules:
(f) Using C4 explosives on fast-moving vehicles to destroy other vehicles (C4-ramming)

.... because DICE Canada were too busy nerfing the Blackhawk to address other "real" issues.

I tried it once during my early stages of playing (where i only made 2 kills per round at most) on wake island. i drove up, no one was there, so i thought :this is a waste so i detonated it. a few seconds afterwards a tank rolled into the outpost
