Installing SF on BF2 1.41 w/ EF and AF

I have BF2 w/ EF and AF patched to 1.41

It should work if I install SF and then repatch it, right?

wont hurt to try it outs. worse comes to worse u end up reinstalling bf2 then SF and the EF/AF.

OK this thread sprung from another problem that I thought would be fixed. Here's the long and short of it...

I buy "Complete BF2" collection with BF2 SF EF and AF.

I run the install off the DVD which does everything automatically for all of the games. Except afterwards I look into the installed folder to see that SF wasn't installed.

There's a folder in the DVD directory with individual installers for them all. Problem is the SF installer won't run. It loads up, does the "installshield wizard is preparing your installation" pre-setup stuff, shows the big BF2 splash, then nothing happens.

I figured it was a prob with the disc. So I use the key to get SF off the EA downloader. Guess what? It does exactly the same thing.

So I delete all things BF2 from my PC and install BF2 individually, eschewing the auto-installer. Then I run the SF installer again, same exact thing. I'm completely stumped.

Don't know what to say dude. My best idea is wait for someone else to say something this afternoon and/or return the dvd and try again but either way I'm not in the best state of mind to offer real help if you get what I mean - hahaha.

Besides, who needs SF right this moment? If you can play th game without SF than at least that works. Like I stated above, return dvd.
