Forgotten Hope 2 has been in development for over two years now. Why do people bother making mods if they could go out with their team and create a game instead in less time (make money too). Seriously I' am tired of waiting for a mod that is going to be played for like two weeks but took 3 years to make. Is this really worth it? I don't ****ing think so...

clearly you dont realize just how much it costs to make a game, a million dollars is pissed away just in conception for most games. you ever think these modders are doing this stuff for their portfolio to get a future job or just because they enjoy it......where do you think dice came from or kaos studio???
id say dont let the door hit you in butt on the way out. there will be plenty of people to play FH2, it will be the definitive BF2 mod.
FH1 still fills servers and BF1942 is over 5 years old. something tells me they arent to worried if you play or not, you couldn't even look 8 threads down to find this other one entitled "when will FH2 be released". This game will take very good observation skills and something tells me that dept isnt your specialty.

Curious....
I'm convinced that FH2 will be a very good mod. The starter of this thread really needs to back up a sec and understand that these guys are putting alot into this MOD and I'd much rather now see them wait to release than release it half assed and then not support it later on....but those that posted in this thread, that dropped to his level need to rethink also and try not to be so mean towards someone that just doesn't understand.
I'll be patient and wait with everyone else on this Mod... I pray to the Mod Gods that it releases before Crysis comes out though...Comment

personally i think fh2 will be worth the wait. yes they could have released a 0.1,0.2,0.3 and so on but if a jobs worth doing do it well' fh still has a massive following after many years ,give them time perhaps it might actualy be the best thing for bf2 and ea/dice/whoever take notice that bf2 livesComment

Amen, no one will miss you if you dont play, and no one owes you anything. Other games rushed out thier mod, and look what happens.
Who cares if anyone plays it anyways. I mean, its for free, and the accomplishment of finishing such an amazing peice of work is its own reward. Plus, having such a product to show to an employer is worth more than the comments of a few kids.
I make models. they take a long time, they dont drive, and no one else really enjoys them but me. If you dont understand that, then you probably dont understand what FH2 is doing.
The FH2 team doesn't have to respond here. They know we respect them, and many of us will play it (and pirates!!!!) no matter when it comes out. Games are for fun, not a social scene to run along with a pack. "Quick, everyone is playing QW, I have to follow the crowds of nameless kids I will never meet" lol
