Quick question about getting promoted to first sergeant. basic pistol badge glitched

title says most of it, a friend of mine can't get promoted to first sergeant because his basic pistol badge got glitched way back in the day, i bet most of you have heard of this glitch so we were just wondering who he has to get in contact with to get that fixed.

Tom4331 if you want to look at his account on bf2s.com. you can see he has expert pistol and enough points but he's still not promoted because the basic pistol badge got glitched.

It will never be "fixed". You can't be promoted from Master Sgt. to First Sgt. You must have the basic badges when you hit 20000 points to get First Sgt. When he gets 50000 points he will correctly get Sgt. Major since he has all the required badges for it. If he had the problem where he initially got only the veteran pistol but not the basic since they were both qualified for at the same time, that was fixed since it shows him as having the basic pistol along with veteran. I don't think anyone ever got a retroactive promotion after having that fixed.

yeah we're aware he needed the badges before the 20 000 points but he did have them. the problem was that back when the game first came out he was given the basic pistol badge like 7 times but it never saved. it would give it to him and not like save on his stats and then he'd play the next day and get it again and be like wtf?

yah thats really strange/funny. he got his expert pistol b4 his veteran/basic. anyhow, i dont think that u can change it. u can try to report it to EA but they wont likely change it

It's not like your friend is going to pick up hot chicks if he gets 1st sargeant promotion, so why worry about it?

It'll all work out 30,000 points from now... enjoy that time, it's like walking across the desert...

Yea had the same problem with my air defense badge. Always got the badge but it never showed in the awards section. Got my vet one though which is kind of odd....
