What's this game like? i've seen one or two videos and it seems pretty cool, is it worth buying? how many is there? what's the best?

The only infantry military simulation worth considering. Great campaign (buy the GOTY for €5), more mods than god himself could make and fantastic atmosphere. This is one scary game.
It's quite old now (2001 release) but sadly Armed Assault doesn't improve much bar graphics.

Yes, Operation Flashpoint is the god of mods and add-ons. You can get Armed Assault, it has some bugs and higher requirements but the engine is far better (3d ironsights for an example).
I say get Ofp for better campaign, addons and mods.
Get ArmA for better graphics, better engine, and for future mods, add-ons.

OFP and ARMA both are for realism nuts so if you enjoy arcade games like BF2, CSS or DoD you ain`t gonna like FOP or ARMA much but you can try em out, maybe you`ll like em.

Oh, the mission editor is a blast on both of em. The most fun part of the game imo

best game ever..EVEr ever.. arma is better for the updated graphics but like some of us with out super pcs flashpoint is still very good but remember its a sim so not expect it to be a push over and learning curve is a little steep but once you over come that you will not look back.
