what do you guys have your sound settings at? i havent really noticed much of a difference on any of the setting except "ultra high" which is acctually the worst in my opinion.

Ultra High Creative X-FI EAX ON

IT SOUNDS GREAT! If you play kark your at train and you hear the gunfire and people dying as far away as the square. I dont have the sound up too loud so i guess if you turn it up then you would hear LOADS :P

I spent £90 on soundcard and headset was best thing ive done to my pc lately!

If you have BF2 looking nice and playing without lag like mine but you have a crappy soundcard upgrade it and you wont be disappointed!

hardware + high + EAX. sounds fine. cant really tell much of a diff between software and hardware, but i can tell between high and low

If you want some depth in the sounds in BF2 and your sound card has an effects tab, try a pinch of Reverb mixed with a quarter of Chorus.

I can only use high... won't let me go very high.

I went from low on my old pc to high, and it's a huge difference, much more of an in depth experience.

(but it doesn't matter anymore because I listen to music while playing lol)

Yea but sometimes I hear a false alarm. As if someone is running around me but in reality there is nobody there. I wonder if it is the sound of wind and grass moving or something

Ultra High with EAX. Hardware render.

I can't go back now. Along with 5.1 surround headphones it rocks. Unless there is radio spam all the time. Then my ears start to bleed.

BTW, the difference between high and ultra high is obvious.
