Quick question for new player

heya, quite new to bf2, just wondering if its possible to change conquest maps via game files etc so that i can make them co-op for local lan. or even make them single player maps. just that i would like to take a break from online everynow n then and lan with my bro.. but with bots ie co op maps or single player ip search.
