MD5 Error? Clan needs help

Ok,
Two of my friends have recently received an error that states:

md5 tool mismatch songhua stalemate

One of them was able to fix it, but he isn't on to help my other friend.

I already offered him the suggestion to reinstall, but he has lost his cd key.... and I believe I just read somewhere that with the latest patch it isn't possible to retrieve the key through the registry anymore.

If you know how to fix this error, or know how to retrieve the cd key, please post....

it quite common in some other games as well also sounds as if your fiend has been messing around trying to either change the dll files or downloading naughty cheats. But, in saying that I will give your friend the benefit of the doubt.

Just uninstall BF2 and put on the 1.41 patch only nothing else that should be of help also make sure that your friend has no virus on his computer as sometimes this is the case when this happens. Or, you could try this may be of help copy your PB folder and give it to your friend make sure he takes the old one out and copy your version across. I would suggest you try the PB copy that I have mentioned that may be of help.

If your friend has download a cheat or hack to play then he is in deep sh** as PB logs it deep inside the computer and hides it away so you will be unable to get going

Now for your CD Key you have to contact EA games if I am right in saying they will send you a new via slow mail. I am very wary when people say they lost CD key and what you have been saying??

One of his clan buddies is on the MBL, so its prob his cheats. Tell him to go to the cheat forum and ask those guys.

i had that problem months ago.. dont know what happened, for me it just went away after a week.
