How long does bf2 have?

Im sure for a while but about how long would you say people would still be playing it? Reason why is that Im thinking of starting a small clan, and no, I probably wont join another clan due to the fact I already have hosting. I know there are way too many clans out there already but since I have had hosting for a while, I thouht what the heck, you know?

itll prob last a while. ppl still play a ton of old games. my friend just started playing starcraft again and he said that theres still a bunch of ppl on battlenet. the only way i can see bf2 dying is if EA made something of a sequel to it (not 2142). sortof like sims 2 to the original sims.

If you read the EULA within 48 hours from now EA will be adminstering patch 1.5 which will create a ranked server pay by the hour system in which all players on the server must pay for each hour they game on a ranked server. It probably depends on the community. If folks are still renting servers at the rate they are now, EA will continue to support it.

With ET:QW, Crysis (even tho I see the evil sign of EA which is why I wont get it) and Frontlines coming about with in 6-8 months, I give BF2 a year.

I agree, I think it will take BF3 (modern day) to knock some people, including myself, off of BF2.

Starcraft is a whole another ballgame.
Blizzard made a solid, no bs game.

Plus, Crysis, Frontlines are coming out so not that long. Some people will keep playing it but not much.
