for some reason when I open up Battlefield 2, an error message comes up and says:

LOL boy did you fukk it up, i would say uninstall reinstall, idk but that really doesn't look very healthy to be saying that when trying to play.

Completly uninstall then reinstall and dont mess with anything if you still get the problem try it on another computer or contact EA customer support (they probably wont respond but hey you never know)

If you did not do anything it might be your GFX card.

Hey man what are your spec, cos if u have Nvidia Ti series card it can cause that error to occur and it wont run, you need nvidia FX series and up to play

if you mean making your own yeh,

when i first started to make myself a mod i screwed up and spent an evening reinstalling

but i was more thorough in what i did in the future and now my game runs happily by my mods side

after doing a fresh install and patching, make a copy of the Battlefield2 directory so there is 2 in the EA Games folder rename them accordingly and both will work so you can create mods and play bf2
