  • Would I get good performance with this?

    Hey, I'd like to know the quality of my gameplay with BF2 with;

    Specs
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, build 2600)
    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+, ~2.3 GHz
    Memory: 512MB RAM
    Sound: Realtek AC97 Audio
    DirectX Version: 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS - 256MB RAM (DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC)
    32bit

And are these drivers good enough:
    Main driver: nv4_disp.dll
    Version: 6.14.0010.5305
    DDI Version: 9 (or higher)

wats holding u back mostly right now is ur ram. upgrade to a minimum of 1 gig. i use to have 512mb and even on lowest settings i would get some stuttering.

btw also really upgrade ur drivers. it looks like ur using 53.05 which are pretty oldd. like nvidia is already in its 160s with drivers and ur still in ur 50s.

2 Gig of RAM is a must if you want to play BF2 well
using onboard sound is ok but with Realtek 97 you can not use hardware setting in BF2 audio....stick to the software setting
XP home is okay but if you can get XP Pro that is my advice!!!
Video is ok but i don't like the fact that it is integrated (unless this is a notebook??)

        RAM is the biggest issue!

Good luck and see you on the battlefield

Thats not integrated, thats just his RAMDAC thats integrated (into the card). So basicly means its NOT an integrated card.
