Multiplayer isnt playable

I reinstalled BF2 yesterday and i cant play online. The singleplayer runs perfectly but as soon as i search for a server, There are a few with 0 of ping then few other between 100 and 200 and then 1000 and up. Then comes the worse part when i connect to one. Worst gaming experience ever, i have a extreme problem to move and when i do it is sloppy as hell. After than if i stay about 1 minute, i get kicked by punkbuster for having a 200 ping average. Even if i put everything to low, i get the same thing.

I was able to play before and now its pathetic.

Please can someone help i really need to get back on a server :S

Full system specs would help. Also what kind and speed of internet connection?

I got a pretty decent cable connection.

As i tell in my post the computer should not be a problem because i was able to play at medium qualities about 100 hrs of BF2. I just reinstalled it to play again and now i cant play.

Thats it. Your video card 5700 is causing all the lag. 6800 has a tough time playing BF2. 1 GB ram is not enough. You need at least 2GB to run it smoothly but mainly your video card is killing you. Time to upgrade bro.

If it worked before, it should work now, at least enough to get by. Defrag, virus scan, new drivers (even LAN cards have drivers), clean the internals in case of overheating, etc to begin with.

Yes i have the patch installed everything seems well installed. I just reinstalled my BF2 to experience the same lag on the net. Even at the lowest i still get the same lag than at medium. I cant find the problem...

tryed that also and still get the same lag. Please someone find my problem i need to get back on a server ...
