Help (Black Patches in Terrain)

We'll, For some reason out of no where this started happening.

Can someone tell me how to fix this?



My specs are:

CPU: Amd 4000+ Athlon

GPU: 8800 GTX.

Memory: 2 Gigs of Kingston

HD: 80 Gig Maxtor

MotherBoard: Asus A8n-SLI Deluxe.

Check your temps, it could be a heat issue

i would define say heat. bull3t you live in georgia, so you definitely need to worry about external heat effecting the heat build up in ur pc. heck i live up in nh and have to run the ac on hot days with a mega fan blowin at my side air intake window to keep my system happy. it is def an artifact not caused by drivers...i would try to cool your system down a bit and see if they go away...or lower your graphics settings a bit so you do not over tax your gpu.

if you keep overheating your gpu, you can drastically shorten the life of your graphics card.

Im getting the same problem..

AMD Athlon 3500+
1GB RAM
7600GS

Just started happening last week. If my GFX Card is burning to death then I can force my parents to spare some cash for a new GFX card!! Hello 8800GTX!!
