Kicking for attacking a Cappable flag

Just FYI to any server admins that think they can kick or ban for someone attacking a CAPPABLE flag under any means including raping that last flag with a jet, chopper or tank.

I witnessed just tonight that a server admin kicked a clan mate of mine for attacking the TV station on Sharqi when A. it was a cappable flag, and B. it was the only one the US had left.

But again, this is FYI to any server admins that feel they can get away with this...since sure the ROE everyone thinks is a joke but I've seen a few servers pulled after screen shots and a few complaints were issued...mostly directly to the server provider.

Maybe you can't attack a capable flag until they get 2 capable flags, that way it's not a total rapefest and you keep people in the server.

True, to some degree.
But if the server doesn't specify a no baserape rule. Well than, it's base raping time once you have the enemy down to their last flag.
Or at least it should be.

No...see you can't prevent someone from attacking ANY cappable flag.. it takes away from parts of the game. The only thing a Server admin can enforce for their server is this:

Disallowing repeated main base camping/attacking of un-captureable bases. However, in such cases, attacking the base with reasonable intent to take out assets (artillery, command outpost or radar) are acceptable

So..as you can see you can only prevent players from attacking a Un-Cap base!
And a Base raping rule only applys to "Un-Cap" Bases.....
Spawn camping rule is a different story..... but if thats clearly the only base left then sorry its your fault you got pushed back to one flag..bend over.
If you kick or ban players for attacking a cappable base your violating the ROE and thus can have your server pulled.

couldn't do nothing since my teammate didn't screen shot the kick which was pretty much spelled out. Just posting to make a point so others know that you can't be kicked or banned for attacking a cappable flag.

It doesn't matter what the situation is, when a 12 yr old admin is involved.....sum1 is bound to make a thread about it.

The admin to this server is an adult prob around 30-40 which puts them inline with my own age. Just seemed that this guy didn't know the ROE was put back into play a few weeks ago.

so wtheck is the rule, i was playin on one server other day & it was a "no attacking uncaps except spec ops, blow commanders toys & then leave" it also had other rules, no killin in uncaps for spec ops, so i though WTHeck, i go to run in blow up a uav trailer, around corner & some guy there & i cant shoot him?
so i tried to pllay by their rules, i was popin their toys alot (only about 20 of us in game) couple times i ran up on a guy like the senerio above, and i tried to defend myself, eventually admin Pause's game "obey rules , this is ur last warning" i dont know who the heck he was talkin too, i assumed me since i just killed a guy inbetween me & the radar. so i just left,
so moral is what , take a screenshot of teh kick/ban & send it into EA? im nooby kinda , i never tried to report any krap like i've seen on some servers, so if ya dont mind tell me where to report

I've been on servers with that rule. Apparently they don't want us to kill anyone when we're in the uncap. Period. Someone* sees you, you're screwed.

The "no attacking uncap" rule is lame but legal according to ROE. Disallowing attacks on any or all capables is stat padding IMO. The idea is to maximize the number of points scored by preventing the round from ending due to one side being capped out.

I agree its lame..but its a rule to keep you from attacking a CAPPABLE flag..in other words they were saying the Mec forces couldn't attack the TV station with the chopper like we were doing when its fully allowed and per the ROE you can't prevent people from attacking a cappable flag...they are all fair game under any conditions.
