Ok, this is almost not a question about Windows Movie maker at all, but its the best title. For some reason I got some spyware that deleted the video effects and transitions files for windows movie maker. I beleive they were .dll files because the only way I can seem to get the files back is if I re-download Windows XP (SP2). And that would set all my settings, downloads, games, programs, and anything else I have done since ive got my computer back to nothing. So my question is, does anyone know of a way to get the files back, but I don't have high hopes on that one, I already did all the research I could and the (SP2) thing was the best solution so far. My other question was, now that I can't use Windows Movie Maker, whats another simple movie editing program that I can use, all I need to do is be able to split clips, add music, some video effects, and some good transitions, thanks!

Here is an editing tool that i have been useing for a while now, it is hard to get the hang of but just see how you go with it ,also it can compress files whitch comes in very handy.
