    Problem #2

    Well, I know I need a new video card to run BF2 (getting next week, GeForce 7600GS), but for now I went to Add or Remove programs, clicked remove to Battlefield 2 and it came up with this:

    Code:
    >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (469)
    pAPP:Battlefield 2(TM)
    PVENDOR:DICE
    PGUID:048589*5-9*49*4B2a-**D4-DC*9A**E6A7* (filtered out some incase it was important)
    $10.50.0.125
    @Windows XP Service Pack 1 (2600) BT_OTHER 232.64

    Well if you have SP1, that definately wont help you. I suggest upgrading to SP2, Ill check to see what I can come up with.

    By the way, the GeForce 7600 GS is the card that I own and it works great.

      Alright, thanks, but, even if I have SP1, if I was able to install it why can't I uninstall it?

        Correct me if I'm wrong, but service packs for Windows are like directX, you can't uninstall it, only install a newer version on top of it. Defo get SP2 anyway.
